Each group should choose a chapter. Please come to class on October 30 prepared to tell Dan Bové which chapter you want. He’ll mediate if two groups want the same chapter.
There will be no class on November 1. Please use the time you gain from this to prepare a good group presentation. Feldman, Power Learning pages 188-200 will provide some help. You’ll want to be sure that each person in the group has a share in the oral report, since you’ll all be graded on this. Each team should expect to use about 8-10 minutes.
If you wish, bring visual aids. If you intend to use Power Point, please let one of the Dans know so that we can have a smart cart on hand on the date required. Ideally, someone from your group should practice with the smart cart to make sure it works OK ? it might be possible to do this by coming to Curtis Hall in the period before the presentation.
In reporting on a chapter your group should cover these basic areas, adding to them in any way you wish:
After your group reports, please write a one-page (250-300 words) paper summarizing what you did. Type this on a computer and send it as an attachment to Dan and Dan by Monday, November 18:
